SELF

In my time here at the IKE BOX I have really changed as a person and the people that I hang out with are also different. I have also learned a lot about myself and what I would like to do with my life. In the fresh start class here at the IKE BOX I have been exposed to a lot of outdoor work with the forestry department and I have also looked into possible jobs so that i can start my career as a forestry worker. I want to work in forestry because I love the outdoors and the wilderness and I think that it is important that we conserve energy and do whatever it takes to keep or home as natural as possible.

PLANE CRASH!

I crashed hard into this jungle of opportunity when I ran into the harsh life of what normal people call reality. The ike box and this freshstart class helped me get back up on my feet and get on track with school. Ike helped me get a freshstart and also gives me something to look forward to.

Benefits of trees

Trees are very beneficial in todays world with all the timber products and the things that biproducts are used for, also,they inhale the carbon dioxide which we exhale and convert it into oxygen so that it is easier for us to breathe.

People I meet

A lot of the people I hang out with I would have nerver expected in the past to befriend but I guess, over time, things change and your likes and dislikes kinda determine who you hangout with and what you do.

Advice

I have to say that the best advice I have ever had was simply to be myself. Don't follow the crowd and be your own person is what I was told. That was the best and most life changing advice I ever received. 

Imperialism

The US in my opinion is a very imperialistic country, we invade the space of other countries, take control and then say it is for world peace. A great metaphor said by Janice Joplin "Bombing for peace is like F***ing for virginity"  really explains the US government in blunt terms. We are invading other countries and taking control so much that the only that keeps the countries from being completely taken over by us is their name. The US is very IMPERIALISTIC!
